Manic Monday

I'm working on my mental health all of the time. Today I decided to work on exercising on a regular basis.  Many studies have shown aerobic exercise to be helpful with promoting relaxation and reducing panic symptoms.

I'm using an app  for my iPhone called 5k Runner that uses interval training to slowly build your stamina so that you will eventually be able to run five kilometres. It was tough but it felt really great to be active.

Going for a run also allowed me to explore my neighbourhood and look at all the interesting things I saw:

One of those days

Ever have one of those days where nothing seems quite right? I LOVE this striped dress but after seeing these photos I realize that this dress is too small in the bust! That means it's time to find it a new home and it will soon be available in "KVT's closet" a shop that I am slowly getting together that will feature clothing from my very extensive wardrobe.

dress: thrifted, shoes: Lela Rose for Payless, sunglasses: Tumbleweeds Handcraft, purse: vintage (from my Mama), cat earrings and necklace:KVT knits

Friday's Favourites

Do you have stuff you just can't live without? These are a few of my "must have" favourites

Silk stockings, body tint by Lush, It smells so good and makes me feel better about my pasty legs.

Lotta from Stockholm's peep toe clogs. These shoes have changed my life. As a very tall girl they are the first heels that I have ever felt comfortable in.

Essence's liquid eyeliner works so well and it's sooooo cheap!

Calvin Klein bras have been my favourite since I was 16.  The secret is to buy them cheap at Winner's or Marshall's.

I just got my Tumbleweeds handcraft heart shaped sunnies in the mail yesterday and I LOVE them. I have my eyes on a pair of cat eyes now...

I love Benefit's lip and cheek tints. I used to get the original until another brunette showed me how pretty and natural Cha Cha looks on dark haired, fair skinned ladies. It's the perfect choice for girls who like that no make-up look.

Minnetonka moccasins are what I wear when I'm not wearing clogs.

Erase paste by benefit is my new favourite cover-up. It's much lighter and smoother than other brands I've tried and it gives great coverage without looking like you're caked in make-up.

Are there things you can't live without?  Or do you prefer to try new things? Or both?
